Attempted Child Luring Incident in West Nipissing

***UPDATE***Police have identified the person of interest in this investigation. The individual was known to the family and there are no concerns to public safety.
The Nipissing West Ontario OPP is seeking public assistance following an attempt to lure an 11-year-old child into a vehicle on Cache Bay Road.
The incident occurred Friday between 3:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. as the child was walking home from school on the north side of Cache Bay Road, near the hydroelectric dam. A black sedan approached the child, and the driver, described as a male in his 60s or 70s, tried to convince the child to enter the vehicle. The child declined and the car left the area heading eastward. Thankfully, the child was unharmed.

Height: 5'8"–5'10"
Build: Medium
Hair: Bald
Appearance: Clean-shaven
Clothing: Blue winter coat
The vehicle is described as a black sedan without tinted windows.
