Thanks for bringing this story to the light of day! Glad there is some sort of resolution for the time being as it was extremely invasive!

Why drones? All they have to do is drive around stop, take notice to the very visible ever so many infractions to the present by-laws! Handle the very visible infractions and once the ever so many have been corrected,”kudos”, pat on the back! No need for drones to inspect the back of someone’s property, when the ugly I see is on at the street view. Get out and walk around Mr By-law Officer!

Great use of resources by the officers, I applaud them. West Nipissing has to get with the times and realise that other jurisdictions are fully using RPAS, drones. This was previously done with actual aircraft, at a much higher cost to the tax oayer. That said, the municipality has to come up with policies as to how/when it can be used.

I can tell you from my experience with this municipality and dealing with Barbeau that he likely was very aware of the municipal expenditures and that those in his employ will not be disciplined but you will be told otherwise. You should have cleared his office with the last bunch as he's only going to taint this one. Unfortunately it's apparent the damage has already been done. Incompetence and we refuse to fund it until fixed.
