I am appalled that they would even consider such a request. Their sex crazed activities should remain private and in their campground only. There are a lot more important issues like the Homeless in our area to look at.

Ken I totally agree with you!! I have many gay/ lesbians friends and they also agree with us that they'll be out in the open however their sex lives will stay in their bedrooms just like everyone else!! Now, whatever government provided any funding to this please be free to provide funding to all that are married, common law , etc... or fund city's town for kids, or young adults to do free activities except activities to do with technology so we have canadians in Olympics etc... instead of DRUGS!!!! Government wake up!!!! Get out of AI we need basics, this is sad seeing little towns, city's going through funding for things that are NOT NEEDED!! sorry for the long paragragh

Very well said Dee, wake up and support the needy, instead of things that belong in the closet. There is so much that could be done for the young around here, the homeless, etc.

Maybe there would be less drugs if the young had something better to do, with a little help from our local government.

Freedom is so valuable in our society. I definitely am a proponent of the right to be who we are. I strongly disagree that the right to sexual activity should be supported by tax payer funds.

Funding these types of activities should be left to private enterprises. Presenting this at a council meeting is the wrong thing to do. Set up a GoFund me type of account and see who is willing to help your cause.

It is very disappointing that a local group felt that the municipality should dedicate resources for this. We have people who are houseless and others struggling with basic necessities. It is appalling that someone would make a request of this nature.

Is the local media covering this story? I haven't seen anything in the Sudbury news.

It is possible that the camp is looking for recognition, acceptance and publicity more than for money.

Recognition of what??? laughing of older and people with alzheimer , etc???

Come on this should NOT EVEN BE A TOPIC: the following TOPICS should be following:

Helping water issues

Helping the homeless

Fix roads( backrooms are pathetic to lavigne or the drive in)

Activities for younger kids (make them cheaper)

More summer camps for kids(learning basic- support and fund these

People are getting to much with themselves!! Think with your head before funding that really is not worth funding to help ALL people, not just some to have pleasure!!! Leave this topic alone REALLY
