Most of the evidence so far, tells us that majority our elected representatives (councillors) do not run anything or even decide anything. They seem to just rubber stamp what ever the staff wants. Makes one wonder what they're getting out of it - besides making themselves look like stooges.
I did look at the list but didn't see her, must have missed it. Still, $120,000 is low compared to what some of the others are getting and what she does.

While the rest of us are lucky if we get a 3% cost of living raise.... which most did not.

And the municipal clerk, Melanie Ducharme, probably the most effective and hard working member of staff doesn't even make the list. Go figure!
The Municipal Planner/Clerk is on the list at $120,000. The 12th highest paid position.
